Two Affidavits filed clearly state "from Mumbai North Central Constituency"
Receipt given, by Returning Officer, states "from Mumbai North Central Constituency" Total 5 receipts.
Top line left blank,(the error for which my Nomination was rejected) bottom states "from Mumbai North Central Constituency"
Notice the number of corrections in the 3 line order. Clearly indicates, the Returning Officer is poor in English and unable to understand the law.
The Returning officer, with whom I had filed nomination papers was ONLY for Mumbai North Central Consituencly. All 10 proposers were also from Mumbai North Central constituency, they were eligible to propose candidate only for Mumbai North Central.
There is simply no law in Returning Officers Handbook, through which my momination could be rejected, but my nomination was Rejected
But there was a law (10.1 ) through which the Nomination form of Shivsena candidate had to be rejected, but his nomination was Cleared.
As per the law the certified copy of rejection is to be given IMMEDIATELY and FREE. It was given after 2 days and i was made to pay Rs 52/-. When I informed Returning Officer, about giving FREE law.
