Today (11th
September 08) the Rogue Judge in HC refused to allow
me to speak.
The Police Commissioner had to day filed an
affidavit, asking for 6 months more to demolish 117
Chowkies on footpath. ( Earlier on 24th October 07,
they asked for 3 months ... then on 25th January 08
they asked for 6 months more and by 25 July had
demolished only 20, they were given 1 month more,
they did nothing ) So in effect only 20 chowkies were
demolished in 10.5 MONTHS.
Had planned to ask the Judge, to get report every 15
days that they have demolished 10. Only then can 117
chowkies be demolished in 6 months.
But the moment I raised my hand and asked his
permission, he provoked "You have No
manners" His grouse was I had referred to Public
Prosecutor as PP 3 days back. I too lost my temper
and said "A public Prosecutor who speaks lies
repeatedly does not deserve any respect, even if he
is officer of the court".
Things went out of hand as I lost all patience and
told him bluntly "You insulted me 3 days back by
shouting at me SIT DOWN, when all I was doing is,
pointing out lies being told by public
prosecutor". He insisted I get a lawyer, I
refused.
He kept
saying, what he's been saying since Monday "Go
to Supreme Court" I responded "Why must I
go to the Supreme Court" After that, he said he
is appointing some lawyer as Amicus Curia
(Amicus means friend ... friend of the police).
He said he can punish me, if I do not sit down. Told
him "You can send me to Jail, do it".
Now the Rogue Judge, will try to scuttle everything
with the help of his chosen lawyer. These people
deserve to be whipped in public.
The Mumbai
Police have allowed 3 Ad agencies to put ad pedestals
at traffic intersections FREE across Mumbai, from
which they receive about Rs 7-8 crores PER MONTH. Out
which the Police get approximately Rs
2.5 to Rs 3 cr PER MONTH under the table.
( This is what the Judges are trying to protect ).
So the Rs 3 CRORE BRIBE PER
MONTH for the Mumbai Police will be protected by the
High Court Judges .
